A program for young people aged 14-18 about healthy behaviour, boundaries, communication and planning ahead, this program is designed to engage students in an open dialogue about some of the challenges they face and aims to empower and equip them for a healthy future.
Developed by Nadine in consultation with a registered psychologist, life coach and art therapist, Life in the Zone combines theory and social research with personal experience and practical tools to give students the ‘how to’ as well as the ‘why to’.
Topics
Included in the full day program are:
- What it means to live in The Zone of healthy behaviour, how to tell if you are in or out of The Zone and practical ways to get into The Zone and stay there.
- How living in The Zone affects ‘the group’, where to set your boundaries, why to set them and how to protect them.
- Constructive communication with peers and ‘the ancients’ for healthy relationships that function in The Zone.
- Planning for a future in The Zone, figuring out what your priorities are, what you want and how to fit it all in without becoming overwhelmed.
You may like your students to gain the benefit of the whole program, or select one or two topics for a shorter day.
Life in the Zone is a flexible program that can be adapted to your students’ needs.
